My name is Elena Brossard. I am a lifelong Alaskan and a lifelong photographer. My recent work is all digital, but I have a closet full of prints and negatives from my many years shooting 35mm film.
After a serious eye injury one summer (self-inflicted!), I decided to take the plunge and start my own photography business. I think that life is too short to not do what you love. Lucky for me, the more time I spend making photos, the more I love it!
I enjoy every aspect of photography from shooting, to editing, publishing, working with and meeting new people. I am a "think outside the box" kind of person and love to do off-the-wall things with my photographs. I am open to all ideas and will shoot just about anything you can imagine.
I am a full time elementary school teacher which leaves me available evenings, weekends, and all summer long for your photographic needs. Please call or email me if you have questions, ideas, or want to schedule an appointment.
I normally charge $75 per hour of shooting time and editing time (However, I do not charge for mileage or travel time in most cases). This almost always comes out to be way less than most photographers charge. I firmly believe that photographic services should not cost an arm and a leg and I strive to offer rates that are reasonable to everyone! I am wiling to work with just about any budget, all you have to do is ask!
